How does Cornell Evaluate its Applicants

i hope so...

arjun, ur already IN cornell, get off CC! 1,157 posts????????? goodness me

arjun u are two face. when u are talking about something serious to u, u don't want people to joking. but when other people have important stuff to talk about u always joke or contribute something unimfomative to the discussion.

hey hey! who r u to tell me to get off CC...and even if i post 10000posts is that affecting ur chance in anyway???

chill guys...u guys r taking 1 joke way tooooo far...i apologize again...
ur getting way too tensed...relax...all's for the good...don't worry

trust me...tommorrow all of u will be posting in the RD thread here... :D

"when...ur in a VERY heated argument on a VERY serious issue on a VERY important forum...NO!!!"

ur the last person to tell people to chill

err...abike, that was after a 10pg(Cornell forum)+40pg(TiT forum) argument on IIT vs MIT...this isn't the same case...

OMFG!!!! I SAID SORRY DIDN'T I!!!!

no, u chill...i wasn't getting stressed!...and i never asked u to stop posting because it was affecting my chances - it was just an observation (1,159 posts), a reaction (goodness me) and then a joke (get off CC)..well it wasn't in that order but u get me..

u need to understand jokes before joking ;)

it doesn't matter, if u want respect of these forums give others respect also. no need to respond again

it was just an observation (1,159 posts), a reaction (goodness me)

do u realize that atleast 15 other people who regular at this forum have >1000 thread and MANY have >2000 too...

if this was ur reaction...omg! u'll have an heart-attack after a few hrs here

hey...what do you know abbike, i just did

well, im still relatively new to this thing and i am sorry for aggravating u so much

i applied to the human ecology school as undecided. I am an instate applicant.

I don't mind if the Hotel School has lower numbers. Maybe I'm in then.

how would you be a perfect fit if you applied as undecided? HumEc offers a very wide array of majors.

how does being in-state affect cornell chances?

well I applied as undecided to human ec, but I spefically said in my essay that I will most prrobably major in nutritional sciences.

You don't have to know what you want to major in to know that you want to go to the school or that you are a match for the school.

and, pvodenski, while they do try to "diversify" at the end of the day, if you are a "match" or what they are looking for, you will be accepted, whether you are from Ithaca, or Albany, or Orlando, or Tokyo.

pvodenski, the contract colleges don't have quotas for in-state applicants anymore but I'm sure it can't hurt you when you apply to the contract colleges.

i wish i could say H, but then i'd be a lying lesbian.. :'(
