Hi everyone
Quick question. Because of a family situation, I had to skip senior year, and I found out about it last December. I got my application in on time, but I’m wondering how you think the admissions staff will look at my application. I’m fairly well qualified (2290 SAT, 34 ACT, 4.722 GPA weighted) but do you think the fact that I haven’t done senior year courses is a dealbreaker? I explained that I found out really late, and that it wasn’t completely my choice.
Thanks!!!
So… how does that work, exactly? Did you graduate and receive a high school diploma? Are you from Australia (asking because of your nickname)?
Yeah I’m doing an online course to fulfill graduation requirements and i’m getting my diploma with the current seniors. And yes I’m from Australia.
My recommendation: call (using Skype to avoid international charges?) or email the admissions office and ask for the email of the admissions officer responsible for Australia. Correspond with them directly regarding your particular situation.
