How does it feel knowing decisions have been made?

Our fates have been sealed. Are you calmer or more jumpy?

annoyed that it takes them so damn long to communicate their decisions with us lol (jk)

a bit of both actually...

doesn't matter, my fate was pretty much sealed when i sent off my application last fall

I have the same sentiments as mentioned above.

i'm frustrated that they just won't tell us when the decisions have been made... making us wait a whole week

So they definitely finalized the decisions? There is no more committee debate/discussion? I sent them an update on Sunday about some awards I won over the weekend, and I got an email back today saying they would be added to my file...I guess this doesn't matter?

downtown, unfortunately i don't think they will. keep in mind that chances are your file was decided possibly weeks ago

what? decisions have been made? how do you know?

admissions said so

Well, nothing's changed for me....I still feel the same (like crap), but let's see if all this emotion and stress was worth it. Good luck everyone!!

Good luck...

i feel... trapped. nothing can change now! so i'll just wait and see what comes my way

It can happen that decisions are changed right up to the minute the envelopes go out. Don't bet on it, though.

Good luck to everyone!

That is true. All the decisions I heard are made by now. However changes are made at the last minuite up until the day before admissions decisions are sent out

when did the admissions say this and how do you folks know?

Are most schools done by now?

I was reading the article from the thread ''What goes on behind admissions office's doors'' and it just registered that they did ALL of that already. it's over. my fate is sealed. 2007 committee meetings are done forever...finality scares the hell out of me.

Is anybody else kind of playing mind games with yourself, even though you know your decision is already made? Like..."if I study really hard for this one test and I'm actually not a complete waste of seniorisity space, then next Thursday I'll get good news." Or...I don't know, like you don't want to do anything between now and Thursday that might jeopardize your chances with the admissions gods. Even though they've already decided.

I'm weird.

haha, j07, I do too!!
I have told myself "You have to finish this government homework before midnight" or "Run another lap before stopping"... "or else no college will want you on Thursday.

Why does every college that people really want to get into tell everyone on the 29th? I can only imagine how I'll feel if all four of my top colleges reject me on Thursday. The funny thing is that on that day I'm giving a speech at the middle school I went to. Everyone will be asking me what college I have chosen, and I'll have to say "not until tonight."

Funny how life turns out.
