How does my chance for Cornell look?

I plan on transferring in the fall to continue my pre-veterinary studies. As of now, my educational resume is as follows:

Current GPA (5 semesters): 3.86

SAT: 1610

Extra-curricular: Two internships at separate veterinary clinics (6 weeks total), 1000+ hours of hands on experience working with various animals (mainly farm), and a 12 week participation certificate from the 4H club.

Other: member of Phi Theta Kappa, Waldorf education background, consecutive placement on the president's list for the past 2 years.

So, do I stand a fair chance? I know my SAT score is low, but I am hoping my GPA and college transcript will make up for it. If anyone knows of another college with an excellent pre-vet program that I might want to apply to feel free to let me know.

Cornell takes a lot of transfer students, but it is at best a low reach. Interestingly, if you never took the SAT, they don’t look at it.

Cornell seems like a reach. Your GPA is lower than their average, but your strong ECs could make up for it. However, you really need to bring your SAT score up to at least 2100 for Cornell to be a low reach.

Chance back?
