How does my college list look like?

I'm going to be a senior this year in the Bay Area. I wanted some feedback on my college list. Here is some info about me:

Scores:

SAT II Biology: 750
SAT II Math Level II: 790
SAT II Chemistry: 790
SAT II U.S. History: 760
SAT : 2150
ACT: 35

All of those tests have only been taken once.

My unweighted GPA is 3.92.

My extra-curriculars:

President of UN Club at school

Member of National Honor Society, California Scholarship Federation, Mock Trial Club

President and Founder of a non-profit organization: WorldWeDream (WorldWeDream | Change The World Though Inspiration And Compassion) (Have currently 10 summer volunteers)

Captain of my Cross Country and Track Team, while on the team for all years so far

Played Soccer for 9th, and 10th grade and will play in 12th too.

Volunteered at AYSO VIP Soccer

Volunteered at about 6 or 7 other organizations that focus on helping people with disabilities

Went to COSMOS at UCSD for Bio-Engineering Summer 2011

Am taking physics at a community college

Am an official contributor to India West and Cupertino Patch, two newspapers

Scholar Athlete for two years

Am working on creating a mobile app for my non-profit

The list above are some of the things off the top of my head; I may have missed some things.

I want to double major in General Computer Engineering and Finance or Economics. If that major is not provided at that college, then I would major in General Computer Science.

List of schools I'm thinking of applying to (My order):

Stanford (Early)

Harvard

Princeton

Columbia

Cornell

Carnegie Mellon

Brown

Harvey Mudd

UC Berkeley

Johns Hopkins

UCLA

UCSD

UC Davis

UC Irvine

UC Santa Cruz

From a financial standpoint, my parents can cover my tuition. I want to be near a relatively large urban or suburban area. I am willing to go to any state for college.

Does my list of colleges look alright? Can I get some feedback on my college list? What colleges should I remove or add? Do I have good chances to get into my first two or three colleges?

All feedback is appreciated. Thank you!

My AP Scores haven’t come in yet so I can’t post those.

What is your class rank or estimated percentile?

Have you also looked at Rice University? That school is excellent for engineering.

I’m in the top 2/3 % of my class. It’s just an estimate though since our school doesn’t inform us about class rank or estimated percentile either.

Thanks, I’ll look into Rice.

Stanford (Early) (reach for everyone)

Harvard (reach for everyone)

Princeton (reach for everyone)

Columbia (reach for everyone)

Cornell (low reach)

Carnegie Mellon (low reach)

Brown (low reach)

Harvey Mudd (low reach)

Johns Hopkins (low reach)

if you’re in the top 2 - 3%, then I think the UCs should be pretty much guaranteed through ELC, correct (http://www.ucop.edu/sas/elc/)?

anyway, overall, solid chance at each of your schools! good luck!

I think ELC only confirms that you get into at least one UC, not that you’ll get into all UCs. Thanks a lot though!

HI SHUBHANKAR! It’s Andy from Dilworth! Anyways, great ECs going on there. Strong ACT. Your WorldWeDream is definitely one of the strongest parts of your profile; if you really emphasize that on your essays I would put everything within low/mid reach for you and UCs are pretty safe giving that we’re from the Bay Area. Chance me back? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1363141-chance-me-ivies-top-schools-bioe.html

I got my AP tests back. AP Biology (5), AP Computer Science A (5), APUSH (5), AP Calc BC (5). Thanks Andy! I chanced you back too!

bumpetty bump!

hello, is your internship still available? haha jw bc i really enjoyed the cause you are promoting.

Haha, it is open for people to join, yes. And thank you :).

Stanford (Early) (reach for everyone)

 • Columbia (reach for everyone)
