How does my disciplinary record affect my chances of getting into college?

Im currently a junior in high school with a 3.5 academic gpa. I got in trouble twice but none of them were suspensions.
1 of them was my freshman year, i ditched school during an assembly, got caught, but only served restricted study halls during my free period
2nd one was from this year, which was theft from the cafeteria. i think this one is self explanatory, and this one i was either offered a saturday detention or restricted study hall. i chose the restricted study hall.

will this go on my high school transcript? is there any way i can fix this? do i possibly have to disclose all of this? thanks guys

In the future, have some patience; people will answer your question, so expecting an answer after 17 minutes is not reasonable. Please do not needlessly bump.

Anyway, back to your question: Most HS’s do not put disciplinary matters on the transcript. However, the GC rec has a question that asks something like:

http://admissions.duke.edu/images/uploads/process/school_report.pdf

How that question is answered in one you need to ask your GC. The first example you gave is unlikely to be an issue. The second one may be. But nobody here knows what your school’s policy is.

At the end of the day, since you are asked a similar question on the app, your answer and the GC’s need to be in sync. Good luck.
