Depends on what you’re aiming for. How’s it look? Like black text on a white screen.

Why are you taking American History and then APUSH?

My state recently separated US History into two classes. More advanced students take American History 1 Honors and then AP US History. I think this is stupid because I wanted to take AP Psych in my senior year and Tech Theatre in my junior year, but what can you do?

Let me rephrase my question: Is it an adequate schedule for those interested in pursuing UNCW? My reaches: NYU, UCLA, and Emerson.

The only suggestion I would make is that you switch out AP Environmental Sciences for a Biology class. Your schedule is strangely lacking one…

I agree that you should take AP Bio (if your school offers it) instead of APES. If they don’t offer it, I think Bio is one of the “easier” AP’s to study for (sorry, not coming from experience but friends and acquaintances who’ve compared it to Chemistry and Physics), so maybe try taking an online class/self study it? I think that’s pretty impressive because it shows initiative.

I know some schools that don’t actually require Biology to be taken. I don’t think my school requires it although I’ll probably take it senior year (if I can squeeze it in with Physics, because I like physics :)).

I think your sophomore schedule is really good if these are the highest levels you can take, but if you can take even one AP I’d do it to make your schedule great. Your junior/senior tentative schedules are perfectly challenging but not to the point where you’ll be spreading yourself thin or stressing yourself out. Basically, you’ll have some late nights and maybe cram here or there, but you won’t become allergic to school or start suffering from anxiety. And this will give you time to push yourself with extracurricular activities without risking your grades slipping.

I’m taking Biology Honors right now. Science is my weakest subject (well really, it’s more so that most areas of science I do not find intriguing, unfortunately) and I have so many other classes I’d like to pursue more than AP Bio or AP Chem.

Since APES is considered one of the easier AP classes and I don’t like science, I’d rather take that (over AP Bio, AP Chem or Physics).

I was considering taking AP Government next year (they offer AP Human Geography, AP European History and AP Gov) since I hear the teacher is phenomenal, but I want the experience of taking a creative writing class since writing is my passion and I want to be a published author. Plus, I have room senior year.
