I am a transfer looking to room up of campus. Preferably at the view.

The prices for a 2 bedroom are around $900 a month. I was wondering is this per student or split up?

The prices for a 2 bedroom are around $900 a month. I was wondering is this per student or split up?

Per student I think

I think MV is correct because my daughter has friends that live there and they pay roughly $1000/month.

It’s per student. My son got a place at the View…4 bedroom, 4 bath. Everyone is paying about 900 per month EACH! Obviously it’s quite a racket these places have going on, but the convenience to the campus is awesome.

900 for ~9 months or even 12 doesn’t seem too bad once you look at the total over that time compared to a room on campus ($8100 or $10800 respectively). Considering “Room and Board” is estimated around $9900 that doesn’t seem too bad. Utilities are included, but you need to deal with the meal plan or go your own way in that regard.

I think after my first year I’ll be looking into the Varsity or something for sure.

They certainly are nicer than the dorms, but once you add in food it does get pricey. And yes, I think most leases are for 12 months.

Yes. It’s 12 “payments” for about 11 months of access to the apartments…Overall, I think it’s great for transfers who don’t get access to the dorms anyway. And at least for my kid, or anyone around engineering, it’s REALLY close to the classes.

I agree. As far as cost it will be about the same as staying on campus. Maybe a little more expensive but as a transfer i think this would definitely be best for me.

If anyone is looking to room up send me a message. Still looking for one other roommate.
