<p>berkeley17: Last year they emailed about who our roommates were maybe two or three weeks before move in.</p>
<p>Not sure if these switches work unless you have a valid reason like you cannot stand against your roommates and/or you don’t feel safe residing. Preferring double over triple is not valid enough reason.</p>
<p>If you do want to switch, you can complain as soon as the semester starts and they’ll take action as long as you convey the seriousness. </p>
<p>However, triple is not as bad as you’d imagine, so take a dive.</p>
