Pretty self-explanatory question. I know Stanford is adamant about kids not sending one. What do Pton's adcoms think about attaching one (in the additional info of the Common App)? Helps? Hurts? Indifferent?

Does stanford really not want to see a resume? Where do they say that?

At one info session I went to, an S rep basically told me that they throw out resumes. And someone one of the Stanford boards said that he had heard a similar thing from another rep. Their website says:

From what we’ve heard here, http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/common-application/836892-resume.html, resumes count as supplementary credentials. So does Princeton feel the same way?

ugh i have to make another version of my common app then…

If it would hurt, their website would’ve said so.

Yeah I really doubt that they frown upon it. I mean, I’ve read their application instructions front and back many times, and I’ve never seen any indication that they dislike resumes.

I doubt it hurts, since they don’t discourage it and my college counselor (top private school) encouraged me to attach one.

I’ll see how that decision played out on Thursday. :/
