How does Rice fare in Science?

<p>I'm considering going into premed and I'm wondering if Rice's science programs will help me prepare for the MCAT? So in general is Rice's science programs ranked within the top 25 in the US? thanks</p>

<p>First of all, rankings don't really mean anything.
But our science programs are pretty sweet. You'll be prepared for the MCAT if you study and stuff.</p>

<p>The bigger thing is that Rice is across the street from a HUGE medical center (13 hospitals!!). No better place for research, volunteering, shadowing, etc. in the world.</p>
