I spoke to a few Schreyers honors students that had turned down top notch schools like MIT and Yale. Does anyone know how they compare?

Penn State Schreyers grads get accepted to top notch grad schools, receive numerous national academic awards, and go on to work at many top companies. That's how I compare.

The perks that Schreyers offers their students make it a better choice than many ivy's. Early registration is extremely valuable. Use of AP credit opens up your schedule so you can take many more of the classes you want. There is no limit to the number of AP credits you can use. You have advisors readily available to you. Honors courses are taught by some great profs and are small. My son has not had a class over 40. Many Ivy freshman classes are 400+. There is much more.....

For whatever reason Penn State students and alumni (1 in every 114 college graduates) are insanely attached to this school. The spirit and sense of belonging to something "greater" than it's parts is overwhelming. WE ARE...PENN STATE is not just a saying....it's part of them.
