I got in!

Hi,
I just received an email today telling me that I was accepted to the Schreyer's Honors College at Penn State University! I am really happy about this notification. What competitive universities is the Schreyer program comparable to? Thank you!

I have NO CLUE, but congratulations!!! Good JOB and enjoy!!

I'd say anything around Penn State's ranking in US News.

Congratulations!

Congrats! My son is going to Schreyer in the fall. He chose it over WF, Lehigh and Richmond. I think it helps to make the big environment smaller and gives students many wonderful opportunities (priority registration, a mix of smaller and more challenging classes, research opportunities, free travel abroad grants, great advising). Some may disagree but I feel it's comparable to many top schools (perhaps not Ivy - but at least top 30). Especially if you are in one of the top ranked programs like business or engineering (both ranked in the top 20). The graduates are very successful with admissions into top schools and with jobs. Quite a few choose the program over schools like Duke, Cornell, and UMich. My friends son goes there and he LOVES it (along with all of his friends). He is working as an intern with Boeing this summer. My son was sold on "the best of both worlds" concept. He loves the big State U environment and sports but wanted to make sure he was challenged and wasn't lost in the crowd. Not that you can't do that without honors... it just makes it a bit easier. Good luck!!

Congratulations~! I'm happy too~hehe..
