What are my odds at Ivies+Duke? Worked hardest on Penn, Columbia, Duke, Princeton

Thats certainly a good sign. But getting into any of these schools during the RD round is very difficult. But you may be lucky. Best wishes

It probably bodes well for Duke, as Duke and UVA seek similar attributes, but Ivies are very very different and the Echols gives no analogy there

You have strong qualifications for all of your targeted schools, but especially so for the University of Virginia as you are very involved in Virginia politics.

Their criteria overlap only partially- the VA angle definitely helped you for Echols. It may help elsewhere but it’s impossible to know for sure since they’re so different.

Each college’s decision is made independently. You have the qualifications to be a serious candidate any any school but nobody can say much more than that.

Great to have one wonderful acceptance already.

These things are very hard to predict. I certainly don’t see strong correlation between UVA Echols and T10 admissions. My son got into MIT and got a Yale likely letter but wasn’t selected for Echols scholar. As a matter of fact, I don’t know what Echols selection is based on.
