How does the Duke talent thing in 7th grade and the Plan in 10th grade compare to real ACT scores?

I made a 16 on the ACT in 7th grade and a 22 on PLAN. I'm in the summer between my S/J years and I'm taking the June ACT, trying for a 26-28. I was just how all of y'alls results compared.

I’m pretty sure on your plan score report, it states a range of scores in which your ACT is likely to fall in based on the Plan test. For the most part, this is fairly accurate, unless you prep A LOT (higher than range) or are sick or something (lower than range). I guess I scored a little higher than my range, but I probably could have done better if I actually studied for it as I had planned. If you try, a score in the 26-28 range is very attainable.

Thanks for the reply. I need a 32 for a full scholarship to the school I want to attend. If I can get a 26-28 now I’ll be studying nonstop for that 32 lol

@kitten23 My PSAT predicted my score to be between the low 1400s to middle 1500s/2400.

I ended up scoring a 2210 with enough practice. I think such ranges may encourage kids to think that such a range is “my limit” when in fact that could not be further from the truth.
