<p>Since graduating from the University of South Florida with her Masters of Education in 1999, Shannell has worked as a Resident Director at both The Pennsylvania State University (Penn State) and the University of California, Berkeley. Shannell has been with Cal, for 2 years and is excited about beginning her third year. Her areas of interest include Intercultural Communication, and African-American Studies. Within the next five years, Shannell aspires to begin her Ed.D. Subsequently, she hopes to become a College/University Professor (maybe at Cal, if they'll have her!!)."</p>

<p>I am the new Resident Director for Cheney/Deutsch Halls. An East Coast, native, I moved here from Philadelphia where I was a Resident Director at Temple University. Prior to working at Temple, I lived in Boston and earned my Ed.M. from Boston University. I'm an avid sports fan and am thrilled to not have to suffer through another East Coast Winter.
