How does the SAT grade each individual section? Mis-bubbled?

So I took my SAT and my score was lower than I expected (Mainly my CR) but during the test I did make a bubbling mistake. I accidentally bubbled in like 9 Writing questions in a Critical reading section but it was like questions ~26-35 which the critical reading questions only go up to 24. I was wondering the scantron machine reads all the bubbles in that section instead of stopping at 24? The proctor let me transfer my answers but only during my math section which I didn’t want to hinder so I erased really quick and made sure my bubbling on the writing section was readable but I didn’t erase good. I’ll probably get my test hand graded honestly. My math section did suffer but only by one question
