URGENT! I took the SAT subject tests today. I thought they went okay, but when the proctor called time I looked down at my bubbling sheet. I had bubbled in 69 questions on the Literature test (There are 100 bubbles and only 60 questions). It’s a long story, but I think bubbles 1-60 are where I wanted them and 60-69 are extraneous. My question is: will those extra 9 bubbles mess up my score, or do the SAT’s scantrons stop grading after 60 bubbles? This is urgent because I need to know if I have to cancel my scores and I only have a few days!!! Thanks.
The literature test has about 60 questions - sometimes there are more. But if you say there were exactly 60, than let’s go with that.
The bigger issue is if you bubbled 1-60 as you wanted. The Scantron will mark 61-69 (since it’s not an intelligent machine), but those “wrong” answers will not impact your score.
As I’ve said on other threads, personally, I can’t see the value of worrying about scores before the actual results are in your hand. Additionally, almost every college will allow you to select which Subject Test scores to send, so I see no rationale for cancelling.
Thank you! I got my score back and I don’t think it affected anything in the end.
Thanks for letting us know. Glad it worked out.
