Yeah yeah, you're probably getting sick of seeing these by now, but I'm not going to CalSO, so any input would be greatly appreciated!

I'm an incoming freshman for fall 2011 and planning on majoring in Nutritional Science, dietetics track, in CNR. I'm not pre-med. I was wondering if these semesters look evenly distributed in terms of the classes and the workloads they have.

Here are my major requirements, if anyone is interested: http://nature.berkeley.edu/site/forms/oisa/ns_d_major_snapshot.pdf. Are there any AC or R1B classes you'd recommend? And roughly how long would it take to walk from VLSB to Pimental? Doable for back to back classes? Thank you!

First year looks good. Fall of your sophomore year may give you some trouble with 3b/3bl and 1a/1al. That’s a killer combination right there. I can’t comment on your sophomore spring since I’ve never taken those classes.

I’m sorry, this is random, but I new here and I can’t figure out a way to post questions. Please help?

When you are out of an individual thread like this and instead see the list of all the various topics posted, you will see a button up near the top of the page labeled New Thread. Push that and you are good to go.

@misterelephante Thanks for your input. I’m a bit reluctant to do Bio 1A/L and Chem 3B/L together, but I have heard it’s doable and at the moment, I think I will give it a try.

Also, does anyone know if MCB 32/L is only offered in the fall? I ran it through the spring schedule search and it didn’t come up, so if that is the case, I will probably switch my sophomore fall and spring semester schedules.

Many departments provide information about the timing of classes for a number of future semesters. Notice for MCB [Lower Division MCB Courses](Lower Division MCB Courses | Molecular and Cell Biology) and [Upper Division Courses](Upper Division MCB Courses | Molecular and Cell Biology) then notice the parentheses at the end of each class description. It tells you which semesters a course will be offered (F=Fall, S=Spring, SU=summer and combinations like (F,S)

IB has classes that skip years too, thus you look ahead with a page like [Undergraduate Courses](http://ib.berkeley.edu/student/courses/new_undergrad.php) to plan out when you would take certain classes that are not given steadily.
