When I applied, since they had "Business Administration" as one of the possible majors, I thought it would be possible for me to be in the B-School from Freshman year, but recently I found out that, from the Acceptance letter, that I will first be placed at College of Arts and Science for the first two years.
So does it mean that I am guaranteed to transfer to B-School at my Junior year (given that I will fulfill the requirements at CAS)? Or do I still have to compete to get into B-School?

You'll have to get good grades and take the prerequisite classes to apply for kenan-flagler. You apply in your sophomore year and you take classes at kenan-flagler junior and senior year. You're not guaranteed to get into the undergrad business school. It's pretty competitive I've heard.

from the site:
How many applicants are admitted?
We admit 330 students.

A LOT of kids come here saying they're going to major in business, and then they take Econ 101 and it kills their GPA, and they end up majoring in something else. B School admissions are pretty competitive, but from my experience it seems pretty attainable.

What a lot of people do if they can't get into the B School is they major in Econ, which covers a lot of the same material and still has a good reputation if you're worried about recruitment opportunities.

tomahawk89: A lot of people believe that going to business school as an undergraduate is not at all necessary. As cloying pointed out, econ majors also have plenty of recruitment opportunities (though that's also not an easy major). In fact, in terms of recruitment-- some big companies really like to see a student with a broader libral arts background. They're not only interested in quantitative skills, but also in excellent communication skills, etc.

It's like other state schools where you have to do well in the pre-requisites in order to get in. As cubsfan showed, you need like 3.5.
