Is application essay a big part for UW?
Yes it is. UW is a holistically oriented school and according to my adviser, your essay is probably more important than your grades. Make sure you take a lot of time to tell your life story in under 1000 words. You have to captivate them with a first few sentences, otherwise they don’t bother
