How easy is it to get into Jennie Murphree?

I know it's difficult to get into a suite-style dorm with a high priority number, but I don't usually see people listing Jennie Murphree as one of their options. Is it easier to get into this dorm than other ones? If the priority number is around 5400, will Jennie Murphree be impossible to get into? Just wondering....

Not really. Pretty much all of the suite-style dorms are the same “difficulty” to get into, although Salley is generally the last to really be requested.

5400 is likely too high to get any suite-style dorm. Housing has roughly 3700 spots in suite-style dorms. A number of these can go to returning students, a number are reserved for LLC residents, and the like.

Housing generally knows where they stand with people applying for Housing and who’s applying for what. It’s around 4000-4500 as a priority number that they start telling people that suite-style dorms are unlikely. At 5400, they’d probably tell you straight up that it won’t happen.

If you want to live in a suite-style dorm with a priority number that high, you will pretty much have to get into an LLC.

That’s what I thought; just thought I’d ask. My daughter has applied for the Music LLC in Cawthon, but I don’t know if she’ll get it. At her audition, they explained that they pick the students for the music dorm according to their audition and their GPA, so if she doesn’t get it, I guess it’s a community-style dorm. Oh, well - I lived in Kellum my first year and lived. :)
