first of all, those are definitely your scores because you cannot even type coherent, gramatically correct sentences.
second of all, no, pharmacy is not representing the entire school's statistics, i'm just arguing your thinking that RU is a bad school. it has great programs such as business, engineering and pharmacy. also, dont make racial generalizations because i for one am offended at your comment.
third of all, i just explained why people with low scores are admitted into such a prestigious university. rutgers is one of the 62 leading research universities in the association of american universities (aau). others include princeton, stanford and many more. check it out Association of American Universities
also, it is the only university to DECLINE an invitiation to the ivy league, a group of schools that accept only the best of the best (and you cant even deny that satkid2)
why did they do this? because they have the resources to build the future, but people do NOT have the resources to spend $50,000 per year to send their children to school. so, rutgers remained a public institution to better help the people of new jersey experience an amazing education that is unparalleled in many other places.

who agrees that (a) that makes sense and (b) satkid2 should stop talking and leave?

1st.Most of state on NJ people think TCNJ students are more respectably better stat students than RU students.

2nd, how safe RU NB is I mean crime wise. RU crime rate is not recommendable young boys and girls. Please explain how recommendable area students need to deal with.

Can you walk 12AM from library to your dorm by yourself?

3rd, College board stat indicating TCNJ is far better than RU. no?

I absolutely agree with irun4fun. cvcknight and satkid2, you two are flat out losers. you guys/girls have to be the most ignorant people on the face of the earth. you dare argue Rutgers is a bad school with the, in need of serious remediation, writing skills you both have? I don't even think you both understand your own hand writings, but you know what i do think? The both of you are just bitter because Rutgers probably DENIED you admission. I just cant seem to grasp the concept of how people who are so-called "against" Rutgers are always on its threads. GET OFF!! I bet neither one of you qualify for the schools your try to compare Rutgers to!

To everyone else on thread, lets just act like these clowns aren't on the thread because evidently, they have no life!

BTW, I honestly was not aware of TCNJ until recently, so don't try to claim its more reputable than Rutgers.

You realize that you need a 1500 just to apply to that program don't you? Obviously the average would be high. And you also realize that, when you complete the first two years on that program at TCNJ, you'll be attending the medical school at Rutgers. TCNJ is not better than Rutgers, it is a totally different school that is more like a liberal arts school.

And Trenton isn't that much better. Whatever happened to that student that was found dead in the dumpster?

Most of the New Jersey high school students applied to TCNJ, Rutgers, or both. Almost everyone I know who applied to Rutgers got in, many of them being average students, while TCNJ only accepted students with much better academic records.
Most of the smart kids from New Jersey high school applied to TCNJ as a safety, and most of the average kids applied to Rutgers as a safety.

TCNJ is definitely a much more competitive school with higher standards.

Alright I think its evident that satkid2 and cvcknight are retarded. Redbank007, I do compliment you on using proper grammar and actually putting up a good fight. Honestly, I'm not putting down other schools. I'm just arguing that Rutgers is a great school. So argue as much as you want, but Rutgers is a great school in millions of ways and that's a fact. Are there better? Sure. But that does not mean that it sucks.

Students who have a 3.5 GPA and a 1600 SAT score and above are probably not looking at Rutgers. And Trust me Rutgers will gladly accept anyone with those scores SAS or otherwise

Rutgers is a great research institution, but colleges like NYU, UCLA,Stanford, University of Chicago are rated higher. No one is saying that Rutgers is a bad school.

How does Rutgers stack up against schools like UMd ? Penn St ? UDel ? ( it seems that many kids apply to all of these schools ). I guess that if one were to be accepted to a school like UVa or Emory, Rutgers would not really be even considered ???

Those who are saying TCNJ blows Rutgers out of the water, must have something against Rutgers or something.

TCNJ isn't all that great. I've had a teacher who has recently graduated from TCNJ, and it was his first year teaching my class last year. He's a really smart guy, but he had no idea how to teach. I learned absolutely NOTHING in that class. And he was majoring in Education. He knew his stuff, and he was a nice guy, but he had no idea how to teach us this information.

He also told my class a story about his roommates, and how one of them printed counterfeit money out of their dorm room. So don't go thinking that TCNJ is all that high and mighty, because it really isn't. If someone could get to TCNJ, you could probably get into somewhere better, but i'd probably cost more money since it'd be out of state.

Eh, I don't know why this thread escalated into a Rutgers vs. TCNJ thing.

Anyway, each school has its pros and cons. Simple as that. Both are decent schools.

Anyway, why are we comparing a small liberal arts public college vs a large research public university??? It makes more sense to compare Rutgers to universities that MBJ mentioned above.

Rutgers also looks at your class rank. They also use it as a factor toward a scholarship in addition to acceptance. However, some kids I know that got into pharmacy failed chemistry I and biology I first semester. Anyway, needless to say, you will meet a lot of top ranked high school people here because of the scholarships they give out.

Of course, I don't hold this depersonalization against Rutgers. They have to do this because they don't have time to look at every student's story or take into account the quality of their high school. They just look at your SATs, GPA, and class rank.

the biggest difference between TCNJ and Rutgers is that TCNJ isnt very well known. If your going for a career in a highly competitive field than go with Rutgers...
