Will i get into rutgers? i have a 4.4 weighted avg and will take about 10 aps by graduation. can i get into the philosophy or business school in nb solely on my grades?

^Yeah, your stats and courseload is strong enough. What are your SAT scores?

I attend warren county community college i am in the middle of my spring semester. My first semester i got a 3.79 and am getting inducted into two honor societies. I also made deans list. I play tennis and basketball and in highschool i volunteered at the hospital. I am taking Calc 2, Eng. Comp 1, and macroeconomics this semester and over the summer and plan on taking chem 1 and eng. comp 2. I applied to the school of engineering and school of arts & sciences for Fall of 2011. Do you think i have a good chance of getting in. I would have a 4.0 but took AP stats in highschool and got a B. My GPA in highschool was 88/100 unweighted. By the end of my spring and summer semesters i will have 33 credits. Looking at my stats can you please tell me what you think my chances are in other words if I am a strong candidate.

I have a question can I get in Rutgers New Brunswick with 1790 SAT and 2.6 GPA? I row crew varsity and some volunteering, and going write a balling essay. What are my chances I know my GPA is fairly low in the high 70’s. Thanks for those who reply! Im probably going undecided

Bump?

Is is much harder to get into Rutgers if you’re out-of-state? I got a slightly sub-2000 score for my SATs a few months ago (~1910…can’t remember). I got 640 (Eng Lit) and 730 (French). Not that good, but is that decent enough?

I have great ECs. A lot of leadership and editorial work.

Thanks!

yes u’ll get in fine

is it really this hard to get into rutgers?
i just applied:
3.85 uw GPA
1500 sat/22 ACT
national honors society
4 years of football/track
volunteer experience
AP courses

my neighbor did early decision and got in with my same gpa and same sat scores
but totally different ec’s like he did the school’s newspaper/managed the soccer team/band…

Dp, maybe you could check out the stats on their website? Your ECs look pretty good to me! :)

If I had like a 3.1, but also did lots of stuff outside of school, like piano, soccer, volunteer service, programming, etc, do you think I’d have a good chance of getting in?
