On that note, I’ll just mention that during summer orientation, I was roomed with my best friend from kindergarten! It worked out; we’re friends again now, but it was definitely a surprise.

At my college when I first arrived I think there was maybe 4-6 students there from my high school (none from my graduating class… they were all older, but we still vaguely knew each other). I must admit I rarely saw them. Heck, one girl I haven’t seen ever and I’ve been there for two years now. I did randomly end up with one in the same class… but we didn’t really speak.
Now my friend goes to my college so that’s unavoidable that we’d see each other. And two more kids from my school are coming here this upcoming year and I already planned on seeing one… the other I probably wont, and probably wont even recognize.
…
I don’t think you have anything to worry about. A lot of the high school drama is gone when you go to college… it’s all about meeting new people, and almost starting over in a way.
