so is this possible? what if you are doubling up in two hella hard courses next semester and thus wanna only take 12 units....
do the administration allow this? how do we request such a thing?

thanksss

13 is the minimum for full-time status in L&S, so 12 isn't going to be really doable. You'll need to tack on at least a DeCal, which is about as easy as 1 unit can get in almost every case. Going through the process of asking for an exception to take 12 units, instead, seems like way more trouble than it's worth, and they certainly don't make it easy.

If you wanted to, though, I suppose you would go talk to the L&S Deans.

13 is min. get one more unit. doubling up next semester would be stupid, because you wouldn't have been used to such a hard load

It seems like it'd be easier to transfer to the College of Engineering (where the minimum course load is 12 units) than to try to ask for an exception just because you're taking "hard" courses.

okay i get it take a decal
yea im doubling up in bio1b and chem 3a
sooo i need all the free time to prep
