How far away is HOVA?

On the map it looks a bit out there???

How long of a walk is it to the main campus?

I submited my housing choice today and chose it, even if it's a hike it seems to be the best fit for me.

I just got back from visiting GW(like yesterday) and visited both Thurston and HOVA. HOVA isn't that far at all from campus. It's across the street from The Watergate Complex, with a Safeway and other shops. It's really a short walk, but I think that Thurston seems to be more apart of the "community" feel.

you submitted housing today? isn't that a tad early. i just recieved the e-mail from them two days ago that they'll be sending out the housing and orientation info soon (i am yet to recieve it though). were you early or am i late. also, i know they give ed applicants priority in housing, but does this nicety remain if we submit housing requests once regular admits can also?

I'm early. The apps are done by the time thery were submitted within each group of ED1, ED2 and RD.

It would be good to do it asap, because it's just the time you first submit it, but you can change it up until july.

Sending it in before most people know about it and being ED1 means that I should litterly have one of the first choices of all freshman :)

so i can fill anything in and it won't matter - i'll still have this first priority timestamp thing even if i change from a six-person thurston room to a two-person hova (and get the hova)?

also - im visiting gw on march 29. i will surely be checking out dorms and eating. anybody have specifics they need checked or reccommend i see or do while there. just a day trip so no partayss :(

keep it real

You got it about the time stamp!

I looking at flights right now to go an check things out.
