How far can grades drop after Acceptance?

So I got in to Brown-I’m obviously very happy as it is one of my dream schools. However, I’m curious, how far can grades drop during my senior spring and first semester grades? Obviously not too far, but the letter did say we must maintain the same level as what we were when we were accepted. Is this true? Can they fall a little bit? Like an A to an A- or an A- to a B+? Please help me out on this. Congratulations to all of us who were accepted, and condolences to those who were differed or rejected. I wish you all best of luck in regular decision and I hope to meet all of you who are going to Brown.

Thanks

They’d have to drop to the D/F range to have your admission rescinded. Schools do not like to rescind admissions; they liked you enough to admit you and really want you to come.

Obviously, you do not want to test this theory out. Congratulations for getting in,

Ok Thanks a lot!

The change in grades you are intimating would not be enough to rescind an offer. But, don’t press your luck. I am sure you are not going to change from the grades that got you into Brown into a D or F student. That would entail your skipping school your whole second semester. Colleges are used to some degree of senioritis.
