If grades drop __ points, are you indanger of getting rejected after being accepted?

i was wondering…

i dont know what it is about this year, i guess senioritis mixed with hard classes, but my grades are really dropping. im worried about after all this work w/ my app and obsessing about brown, what if i get in and then they see my mid year grade report and take back the acceptance…

how low do you think your grades have to drop for this to realistically become an issue?

[my transcript average is 95.7, and i am anticipating a 90 avg flat (give or take a point) for my midyear grades… baddd? or am i being silly?]

anyone know?

If you get in and your drop is only to 90, I think you will be fine, unless there is one grade in particular that has fallen a great deal. If you are deferred (I assume we're talking ED), however, the mid-year grades will be taken into consideration for your admissions decision, and that could hurt you.

my college counselor always said we could drop up to a full letter grade, and we'd be fine
