How far would you go to get a job in iBanking?

This might sound weird, but how far would you go with someone in a position to hire you to get a job?

I'm talking in a situation like: out of undergrad and you meet a MD (or any other high position) of a big firm. They say they'd hire you if you have sex with them? Not just give you an interview, but give you a job starting as an analyst and pretty much give you security from never getting fired.

Would you do it?

If it was a female, I'm sure most of us males would.

If it was a guy, I would still do it for that job opportunity. I'd give it or receive it. (no homo)

Discuss

female, probably

male, no that's straight up gay and would probably bite you in the ass later on with secret pics on digg.com or something lol let alone the haunted flashbacks you'd have and then you will spiral down with progressive depression

female, I would probably at least think about it.. but I think I'd say no. I wouldn't want to spend the rest of my years there thinking that I might not be good enough for the job.

male, I'm not into that kind of stuff. I'd rather take my chances with the regular process lol

"I'm not into that kind of stuff"

I didn't mean to come off gay. I'm not. I'm 100% straight and like females only, lol. But I mean it's extremely hard to find a job so I think30 minutes of gay embarrassing sex is worth having a secure guaranteed job.

the asininity of this thread amuses me

Even regarding the fact that I'm gay, if having sex with the employer is the only way to get a job in an investment bank, I still won't accept such an 'opportunity'. I will blame myself for the rest of my life for doing such an infamy contradicting my personal moral(I'm not Jesus, just a sane person).
But that's just my point of view. Different people may have different thoughts.

^I don't think it would be only 30 minutes of embarrassment. Can you promise you won't encounter any further harassment after getting the job?

wow 30 minutes
i dont think i'd be able to withstand 3 seconds

you can have sex and become an analyst.. but what if you just can't cut it as an analyst? you'll be out of job after two or three years anyway.. and doing such cheap things just to get 2 to 3 years of job? no..

OP, why did you ask this? are you given such 'opportunity'? Lol

I was watching tv and how the movie industry a lot of models/actor/actress are asked to do sexual stuff to get the job. Like one lady had to remove her top in front of the producer to get the job or something like that. And I was wondering how far I would go to get a job in iBanking.

Don't worry. That's for the movie industy.
I think it'd be much better in iBanking. At least you don't need to remove your top during the interview......

i'd remove everything as long as nothing gay happened physically

This thread gives "street prostitution" a whole new meaning

:):):)

What if that possibility arises and you aren't very good? :-(

Would you get fired twice?

That's a poor direction people would want to take. I am female and want to work in IB, however, I'm not "that" desperate to get the job. Unfortunately, what people don't understand is that it could bite you in the ass for females it comes out worst result than males.

You should use your knowledge, skills, & connections to get you by IB not sex!

no .........

this is slightly unrelated, but is it statistically more probable to get a job in S&T as compared to IBD? i've heard that since one's major is of no consequence for IB, a large number of applicants from all fields apply. However, S&T, i've heard, draws the more quant-ish type of majors and therefore has far fewer applicants that IB? to what extent is this true? also, does S&T have more spots than IB?

Sex, even gay sex just for IBanking? Mate, wouldn't prostitution work better? After all, you won't be receiving below minimum wage in that industry ;)
