@ Gray_Hotchkiss: I’m fluent, I think, but I get confused with imparfait/passe compose sometimes, hehe.

@ Izzy: Sherwood Park is rural, right? I can’t imagine living in a… non-urban area (except for school, because isolated schools like SPS and Deerfield are still amazing…), hehe. Alberta has… no sales tax? I’ve always wanted to live in Edmonton (except for the fact that it’s soo cold!!).

haha, i love that there are corn fields in the entrance of SPS… and yeh alot of places dont have taxes for some reason. New Hampshire has some sort of live free or die statement so they have almost no taxes, they put really heavy taxes on people who just have time share rents or winter houses for the mountians… maybe im thinking of Vermont

yeah i think that’s NH. or i saw lots of license plates with that statement on them in NH (that was such a fun trip! 3 days in NH/MA with my mom for the interviews.)

yep, i’m 99% sure it’s nh because when i was at sps and we had lunch at a restaurant, i think my parents said that they didn’t have to pay any tax.
(i could be wrong).

ahhh, i’d die in a rural… area.
well, i’d at least want the school to be a 30 min. drive from a big city.
[cough] boston.
i guess exeter being an hour away from boston isn’t too bad.
exeter itself isn’t so rural…
i think…
(once again, i don’t remember. i was soooooooo tired and i slept like… most of the time in the car…)

The main reason (other than campus, courses, and amazing teachers) that I like Milton so much is the proximity to Boston. I used to live in Boston and we have a few good family friends in Cambridge.

Haha, maybe I’m the only one on CC who loves rural settings. :] I live in the Springfield Metro of Massachusetts, and Berkshire (the school I hope to attend) is about an hour and a half away-- no major cities even close by. Some adorable small shopping districts. I prefer beautiful, rural areas to smoggy metro areas any day.
