how good is a 30?

<p>34 definitely is not standard lol, not even on this site. Like paged2000 said, I see more in the 30-32 bracket than anything.</p>

<p>i think anything is 30's is a good score for top colleges and you can be considered smart. however, it never hurts to improve.</p>

<p>Yeah like i said, for top 25 schools a 30 can keep you competitive but don't expect it to be a strong point of your application. Usually that comes from a score of 32+.</p>

<p>is it easier to score a 2200+ on the SAT than a 33+ on the ACT? I mean this in terms of the number of people who score above these scores - do more score 2200+ than 33+</p>

<p>^ I think it's about the same. I personally think that a 33 is much easier to obtain because the ACT better suits my testing style. But different people do better on the SATs, so it's a matter of preference really.</p>

<p>ya my highest on the act is about a 29, while on the SAT it is a 2300</p>
