I've been wondering how good Mendoza is compared to other undergrad business schools in terms of prestige, job placement, etc. The rankings seem to confuse me a lot because many people say businessweek rankings are not good and same goes for usnews. There are also others who contradict that by relying on those rankings. I would like an idea as to how good the program really is.

bump…

Apparently it’s better than Wharton now!

which is why I don’t know what to believe anymore lol

Mendoza, apparently, isn’t prestigious because skeptics are so keen on disparaging it despite not knowing anything about the institution. It’s simply too difficult to believe an Ivy League school of such prestige might be trumped.

Notre Dame, as an institution itself, is very prestigious among Roman Catholic families from all socioeconomic backgrounds, and it has a reputation on its own due to its participation in Division I sports.

It has an exceptionally strong and tight-knit alumni network. I’m willing to wager that its Wall Street placement isn’t as strong as, say, NYU Stern, but it’s a very selective, well-known, and respected school. Well, it’s respected by reasonable people who don’t have their noses up in the air…

^^^^^^You mean like ND grads?
