How Good is My Sophomore Schedule?

These are the classes I have signed up for next. Should I include an AP class? Let me know! Thanks!

Algebra 2 Honors
Honors World Cultures/ English ( English and history class integrated together. These are two separate classes)
Honors Chemistry
Honors Spanish 5-6
Student Government
Culinary Arts 1-2
If I don't get into culinary arts my alternative is Aerobocs(I have to get a P.E. credit)

My dream schools are USC and Boston College.:)

Most sophomores I know take AP world history, but otherwise you’re fine.

If you have the time and want, an AP might help, but if you don’t it’s still a good schedule.

Thank you @cortana and @TickGrey! I really want to, I just only have so much time.:confused: I am a competitive dancer and I dance about 20 hours a week. I think I might take AP Bio should I sign up for a class…

Definitely take an AP. So worth it.

@fortetennis
AP Bio,AP Art History, AP Euro History, or AP Human Geography? I want to try take one my Sophomore year…

I don’t know. I wouldn’t suggest taking it really early unless you know the basic. The thing is, AP is really hard if you have no base to start off with. What I did was the first 2 years of High school was I took all the core classes (Regular or Honors) and after I got the base learnt, then I move to the APs so it’s a lot easier and comprehensible.

But if you know a bit about biology, then I’ll suggest AP Bio. Also I heard AP bio is really hard. But best of luck!

P.S THIS DOES NOT APPLY FOR ALL APs. Like AP Art History, AP Euro History, or AP Human Geography. They seem easy. IDK. Ask around the AP forum on CC

I’m a Sophomore too, and I’m taking any AP Classes now. 2 reasons: Most of the AP classes are offered to juniors and seniors except AP math classes. Also the only choice was AP World, but I hate history, so I took honors world. Don’t feel the need to take an AP class because other people are telling you to. There’s nothing wrong with no AP’s Sophomore year. Overall, you schedule looks like mine lol and it’s challenging.
