<p>They don’t exactly throw that info around in public. But I looked at the average GPA at the places you got in on the other thread:</p>
<p>Cornell: 3.36
Chicago: 3.26 (ten years ago, has probably improved a little since then)
WashU: 3.41
Caltech: 3.2
Stanford: 3.55</p>
<p>GPA and MCAT are the main factors in med school admission. Stanford is the biggest name AND the most grade inflation so it is the clear best choice.</p>

<p>One thing to keep in mind when thinking about Stanford premed is that many, many students enter thinking they’re premed. Of those, not nearly as many actually stay premed. A lot will switch to something else. But I’m sure this is not just true of Stanford.</p>
