I'm taking an infocus seminar at Northwestern, and I'm planning on playing a lot of League of Legends so I was wondering how good the internet is at the Ayers residence hall.

I don't have an ethernet cord, so if the wifi sucks and I have bad ping, I'll lag a bunch and the other players will rage at me. I have severe, chronic low self-esteem, and I don't want to have a panic attack in front of my roommate if my teammates start to insult me.

Please respond ASAP, I leave in a week. Thank you!

Not going to lie, it’s kind of crappy. I would suggest getting an ethernet cord. You’ll also end up angering everyone else in the dorm if you’re hogging up all the wifi.

If your self-esteem is dependent upon the quality of the internet, it would seem worth the $10-15 investment in an ethernet cord that can be gotten at pretty much any office supply store.

To piggyback off this question, do you think the Wifi is good enough for Spotify/Pandora? I’m pretty sure I won’t be doing anything too intensive, but those two don’t always work in some places with bad Wifi.
