how hard are academics at emory?

Emory's internet based LearnLink application is the heart of the school. Within LearnLink (LL), there is a specific sub-conference dedicated to Classes and Professor ratings and comments

There you will find all the information you require. Asking current students which classes or professors are better or easier is also another great thing to do. Everyone knows one or two great or easy professors.

Some professors are definitely much easier then others. It is no different then teachers in High School...or Middle. Some give more essays and tests. Others are more lax. Others are extremely difficult and write convoluted tests. Some are run by departments and the department's head writes the test...

It's true. I'm at Emory, and you really need to puts hours upon hours of studying to receive straight A's. It's possible, but it will not be fun. Emory is amazing and you should come...

^^I really think it depends on the workload you get yourself into and the department you're in. Honestly, I have been surprised at how little work I've had to do to stay on top of things. Besides my Arabic homework. :-)
