I'm thinking about UNC, and the difficulty of general education classes is a big factor for me. I'm an exact science person, and I find things like writing, analyzing literature, etc. to be daunting tasks. How would I handle UNC's Honors First Year Seminars and freshman writing courses? Does anyone know how they compare to analogous

1) Ivy League courses
2) courses at state schools?

Just to put my ability in perspective, I did get a 5 on the AP Lang exam, but I don't want to spend too much time on humanities gen ed classes at UNC.
Thanks!
