superman, I take it that your applying to stern for Fall 2007 also?

it seems that for this year, stern is much easier than CAS. The acceptance rate of CAS seem to be similar to harvard...

yea madskillz u?

yeahh same here, good luck bro

i know that this might seem like a dumb question, but on Stern's transfer website it says "one year and 30-32 hours". Does that mean that you can only apply to Stern as a junior transfer? I was wondering if you could apply for sophomore transfer this fall...

no you can apply as a sophomore...it means that at least one year which is considered 30-32 hours of class...so you can't go to school for a year and only take like 20 hours in a year, but once you get over 30 hours you're good.

ahh ok thank you!

hey and if you have any other questions i really found the NYU Admissions Board helpful...it's like this board kinda except you send a message to an admissions officer (or NYU faculty) and they post an answer for everyone to see. you can even ask questions to specific schools, like for me I asked on the Stern board and got a lot of info.

hey, thanks again!

I got like a 3.72 after my freshman year in ucsb. but if considerin only major courses I got a 4.0 except those stupid ges like history. I dont ve any ecs or work experience since I m a foreigner still trying to fit in. I mean I ve been here for only 3 years. Does it make compensate for lack lack of ecs and stuffs? When I first took my sat it s only my sixth month being here and i got like 1310. after another 6 months. I got 1450. I regret for not apply to any private collges the year before. SAD
