General Chemistry freshman year was a breeze for me and I did very well in the class but I don't think the teacher covered all of the content well or even covered some of it. I took AP Physics B this year and I struggled heavily in the beginning with Kinematics and Newton's Laws and almost dropped out but then it just all seemed to click after the energy chapter and I ended up doing very well in the class even in the harder Atomic, Magnetism, Light, and Fluid stuff. I really liked the class and I think I got a borderline 4 to 5 on the AP exam. I was just wondering how hard you guys thought about how difficult AP Chemistry was to AP Physics B. I finished the summer work for AP Chem just recently and I thought it was very hard, and it was only the first 3 chapters of the book. There was just so many calculations that needed to be very specific to ratios in the equation, I thought it was more content than I had even done in regular chemistry. I was just wondering what you thought about the difficulty of the two classes compared to each other.

I personally only took AP Chemistry test, but I have friends who took AP Physics B test along with AP Chemistry. They said that AP Physics B was more challenging than the AP Chemistry test. In my opinion, the AP Chemistry test is not very challenging. Indeed it is a lot of content, but if you are taught all the units in AP Chemistry class, you should be fine. It did not have much in-depth questions this year.
