I'm a premed who as of right now will be majoring in hbhs, just curious to know how hard it is to maintain a high gpa of let's say 3.8 or higher? Obviously all classes at Cornell will take the utmost effort but is there a higher rate of grade inflation in any majors?

It’s probably easier than a pure bio major. It’s a good option for someone looking to get into med school.

How easy something is will depend on your individual abilities. I studied only a couple of hours/day except for prelim weeks and got good grades as a science major. Expect to study 3x as much in your first year of med school, 4x as much in your second year, and 80 hours/week b/w the hospital and studying in your third year.
