How hard is it to get a 3.7-4.0 GPA at Harvard?

How hard is it to get A’s at Harvard for an undergrad who’s major is chemistry? I heard Harvard will only let you get a C+ and if you get anything below that, you will be asked to take a leave of absence. Is that true?

The most commonly awarded grade at Harvard in general has tended to be an A. Median grades have tended toward A‐.

Agree with the above.

Read the class of 2019 profile here, which says 2/3 of graduating seniors reported a GPA of 3.67 or above. https://features.thecrimson.com/2019/senior-survey/academics/

You can read the academic catalog to see what GPA would lead to academic probation.
