i really want to go to auburn as they have a good nursing program so i hear. i’m a high school junior in TX.
my stats are-
3.6 gpa
haven’t taken sat but taking classes so hopefully a 1200
extracurriculars (cheer, clubs, volunteer work through out my 3 years)
also taking 3 dual credit courses and took ap french last year
I can’t really chance you, but based on what youve said, i think a big part of the decision will be based on your sat score. I got accepted with a 94.05 weighted average, 6 honors and 2 dual enrollment classes and 6 ap classes, over 80 hours of volunteer work, participation in 2 sports and 4 clubs, and my sat score superscored to a 1280. my best advice to you is to stay consistent. if i were you, id be confident, but anything can happen and admissions decisions could be very skewed sometimes. best of luck to you and don’t slack off!
If required to apply for direct admission to the nursing school or nursing major, then only those admission standards are relevant to your question. So, rather than asking about admission to Auburn University, you may want to ask about admissions to the nursing school or program at Auburn in order to get more specific responses.
you apply for the nursing program during your sophomore year after taking required prerequisites.
@danielladicarlo thank you! i have yet to visit do you have any advice? also did you rush?
I will be an incoming freshman this fall, but I will be rushing because it appears that a majority of girls attending will be and even if i dont join a sorority, I hear it is a great experience. I do know, though, that rushing is not so important because Auburn isnt like other colleges where it is greek life or die. im visiting in february so maybe i can help you out a little more after i tour auburn, but definitely call if you have any questions over emailing Auburn and call as often as you need. they were super helpful during my application process and dont believe all hear-say , take it from the college itself
