i was just wondering... How hard is it to get into lucrative i banks, coming from a liberal arts school. Please offer statistics (how many are accepted out of the total number of applicants). I am torn between two entirely different career paths- med and business. Here are some pros and cons of both.
BUSINESS- I BANKING
pros- start earning decent money out of college, can make a lot more than medicine, can be an executive, not many years of studying although a lot of stress
cons- may not even get into a great IB firm bec of too much competition, may lose the job quickly, may not earn very well.

MED
pros- respectable, good thing to do (philanthropic), comfortable salary and job security.
cons- a lot of work (decade of studying and residency), may not pay as well as business depending on the field.

if u have gotten lost in this mumble jumble - the question I would like some one to answer is in the first couple of sentences. Sorry.
