Why is the 4 year grad rate so low? Why is it so hard?
I really only want to graduate in 4 years MAYBE 5 but def. not 6! It seems like this is the case for most CSUs? What’s up with that? Are we really the class of 2021 and not 2019?

it is largely up to you. If you have a plan, stick to it, and are flexible with your schedule - you should have no trouble making it through CSUF in 4 years.
Many CSUF students are working their way through college which means it is harder to get classes that match your work schedule. I took 7 years because I was mostly taking classes in the evenings. If you can go full time and are flexible in your schedule it should be doable.
It’s actually not that hard at all. I managed to graduate within four years. It just depends on how many units you have since registration dates and what major you are. Just pace yourself and take at least 15 units each semester. Plan out what classes you should take or talk to a counselor; you’ll be able to graduate in no time.
