How hard is it to major in biology?

Hello,

I am an incoming freshman to Texas A&M University - College Station. Since I am planning to major in biology, I was curious to know how difficult the major is to complete. Either it be in TAMU, or any other university.

Another concern of mine involves which major to go with. My ultimate goal is to become a veterinarian, should I follow through and major in Biology? Or should I attempt Biomedical Sciences?

BIMS is extremely tough, and I would safe tougher than just Bio. However, look at what courses you must have to apply for Vet school AND think about how prepared you want to be when you get to Vet school.

Remember they key thing for vet school are your grades so get the degree that you thing you can have the highest GPA in and have a fall-back plan for if vet school doesn’t work out.
