I saw on their website where they said that their acceptance rate was about 20% overall, which was corroborated by their CDS. However, I saw some site (I believe it was a cornell.edu page, but I can’t find it anymore) saying that around 300 of those transfers are for CALS, and only 50-60 are for CAS. Does Cornell publish the acceptance rates for CAS, and if so, what is it?

@monydad Thank you!
The majority of transfers go to CALS or other contract colleges because Cornell has a deal with certain community colleges (and possibly certain state schools, although I’m not sure) where if you complete a certain set of requirements at your community college, you can transfer to a specific program. Of course people transfer to CAS and other colleges too, but I believe that at least partially accounts for why the numbers are higher for CALS.
