So I have a 3.47 GPA at the end of my first semester of college, and I plan to transfer to Fordham at the end of my Sophomore year. Is it hard to transfer?

I just got into Fordham as a transfer student for this spring. My biggest advice would be to try your hardest to raise you GPA to something over 3.6 if possible. 3.47 wont guarantee you a spot but wont eliminate you from admission either.

If you do intend to transfer to Fordham after two full years of college, make sure you are taking the right courses at the institution you are at now. Fordham has an extensive core curriculum that all students must take and there is a chance you could have to repeat certain courses or not get credit for others if Fordham doesnt take them (they seem kind of picky about the classes that transfer over). They also will not take any college courses taken while in high school, not sure if that applies to you but if it does; thats something to think about also.
Good Luck!

Oh i also go to a Jesuit school and I’m a bio major. Will that help?

i think coming from another Jesuit school could be a plus. i would work that into an essay somehow, something about how you have come to appreciate the ideals and values of a Jesuit university and thats why Fordham would be a great fit
