I’m in my second year of college and I just started taking classes for this fall semester. I’m taking organic chemistry, multivariable calculus, physics 3b, and linear algebra. So far, I’m keeping up with my other classes fairly well (this physics class at my school is very easy), and I feel like the load is comfortable. It’s only the second week, so I know it’ll pick up. So far, my linear algebra class has been really easy for me. We’ve only learned how to use reduced echelon form, determine when a system is consistent and whether b is a linear combination of other vectors - very introductory things.
My teacher has a reputation for being very picky with proofs. As the class goes on, I want to know how difficult I can expect it to get. Is it comparable to what I’ve been learning so far? I think I’m good at math, but there’s only so much time in the day to do problems and I have 100+ to do every week. Would like to hear advice from former linear students.
