How hard is the Chem SAT II?

I got a 4 on the AP exam and need a 720 for credit in college, how hard would it be to get this? Is the SAT II significantly easier than the AP exam?

Easy. I got the same grade on the AP test and got a 750 no problem.

The curve is generous if you want above 700. You might have to work a little for 800 because you can only miss two or so. Sometimes there can be some weird questions, especially in the T/F CE section. Overall it's a pretty easy test.

yeah you should be fine...
i never took AP chem, only took a year of honors chem and got 760...

^Same here.

I got a 790 on this testing with AP. I have had a few friends who took it without the AP and got at 700+ (they wouldn't share scores, but they did say that). All of my friends who took it after AP chem got 750+, many close to perfect.

I think that with a good test prep book it wouldn't be hard to do well. I used the princeton review for practice tests/quick brush-up on some material and it was very similar (I scored in the same range on there as for the real thing)

With a 4 on the AP, you should be fine.

Yeah with a 4 on the AP, you should be fine. Take a practice test if possible just to get used to the format.

If you want and 800 though you WILL have to study.

I got 3 on AP Chem and 800 on the SAT chem, so you should be fine

not hard, basic math, get the timing down.

Pretty hard to get a 800 but with preparations I hear it's not too bad to get a 750ish.

i missed the 800 with 780, but if you've been through the AP course, 720 is seriously not an issue

You will get 800 on a SAT II if the subject is your native language or you study extremely hard for it. Getting low 700s should not be difficult at all if you already took an AP course.

Its considerably easier than the AP exam, but you have to work at quite a fast pace (at least I did). I didn't have time to check anything after I finished. It didn't affect my score at all but you should be prepared to work fast.
